Landover, MD – The leading Medical Grade™ keyboard for hospitals has new features, making it a better tool for typing in clinical areas of hospitals. The keyboard is now easier to lock and unlock for cleaning and disinfecting at workstations, with locking keys plainly marked and flash when the keyboard is in lock mode.
No longer will IT staff need to worry about cable management for mobile or wall mount workstations when the keyboard needs to be moved. The no additional charge quick release cable option makes detaching the keyboard a snap. Simply disconnect the 12-inch USB cable and you’re good to go.
The underside of the keyboard has detailed instructions on how to use Tru-Lock, the cleaning lock mechanism, and how to use optional features such as multilevel backlight. The IT department no longer needs to have a user’s manual available at each workstation or continuously train medical staff on proper use of the Really Cool’s advanced features.
The inside of the keyboard has also improved for added reliability. A new state-of-the-art chip is used for custom key programing. Other proprietary developments improve the tactile feel and assure years of dependable use.
Even with all these enhancements, Man & Machine has been able to reduce the manufacturing cost and is passing on these savings to hospitals.
